EMPOWER

Empower and educate persons who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind

to live independently and productively in

a multicultural community.

BY

Providing information and referral, case management,  assisting persons at different ages and life stages, who were born with a disability or who acquired it later in life, to address and resolve a range of individual and family issues.

EDUCATE 

Educate and increase awareness of the various communication needs, abilities, and successes of persons who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind.

BY

Increasing the availability of quality communication access services. Examples of such services include, but are not limited to, sign language interpreters, intermediary interpreters (deaf interpreters), Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART), and support service providers (SSPs). 

ADVOCATE

Advocate for equal access to all services for persons who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind.

BY

Advocating on behalf of persons who are deaf,

hard of hearing, and deaf-blind to receive programs and services.   Serve as a bridge and a vehicle for communication, understanding, and cooperation with the community and partner agencies.
